Carol A. O'Flaherty, RN
Nurse Humorist
[email protected]
Carol O'Flaherty is a registered nurse, laughter yoga practitioner, and a nationally recognized humorist who speaks about the power of humor and laughter, helping healthcare professionals, businesses, educational institutions, government agencies and organizations discover the “Worth of Mirth.” With more than twenty years of clinical nursing experience, she traded in her stethoscope for a microphone, and her message is clear; by incorporating more humor and laughter into our lives, we conquer stress, reduce anxiety, improve relationships and become healthier, happier and more vital members of society
Carol’s unique brand of therapeutic humor has been featured by the A&E Network, CNN, PBS, the New York Times, the Boston Globe and numerous other newspapers and professional journals.
She is not a comedienne. Carol is a nurse-humorist who speaks directly to every member of her audience about the power of humor and laughter by sharing her invaluable and hilarious life experiences and observations. She entertains and educates her audiences with examples of how to use humor to cope with the stresses of daily life. Participants leave refreshed and energized, with a new perspective on the “Worth of Mirth.”
