It's a beautiful day and just wanted to remind everyone out there to think positively. Sometimes we get the chance to take a step back. That step back often can propel us even farther than had we kept the same pace. That happens when we think positively and see the glass half full.
Some of you don't know yet, but Morton Hospital's contract with the company I work for was restructured last Friday. I have to admit I see their point. There is no need for me to market one unit when Steward has many people on their marketing team and very deep pockets. Now having said that I'd like nothing more than to market all of Steward's psych units, but I digress... Friday was my last day as Community Education Manager for Elder Behavioral Health Services.
As many of you know, I loved my job and would have had a hard time leaving on my own accord. This is a good thing. Maybe I'll find something closer to home in Hull. Anyway, I was promised a glowing recommendation and will be off to bigger and better things. (yes, fingers crossed!)
Thank you all for your friendship and support. I look forward to sharing my new adventures with you all at future 5 Score meetings. Meanwhile I'll be busying myself with producer work on the TV Show Dare To
Downsize. Remember that when one door closes, another will open.
Cheers, Randy
